I usually encourage everyone to use their FREE MEAL strategy on the weekends because this is an opportunity to spend time with family and loved ones over a meal without worrying about diet, calories, macros, and eating off of plan. Food is so much more than nutritional sustenance and we've all spent the majority of our existence eating in a relaxed atmosphere with the most important people in our lives. One (or two) meal(s) off of plan will not disrupt your fat loss goals if the rest of your week has been spot on with your program.
It's that time of year again. The holidays are fast approaching and, while we may be feeling the excitement, we may also be dreading the toll they take on our well-being, our wallets and, of course, our weight. The many weeks between Thanksgiving and the new year are, for most of us, the most taxing and the most challenging when it comes to our physical and emotional health. Many people actually feel depressed, anxious, resentful, etc.
The holiday season has started! So what does this mean? It means we all have a lot of extra things to get done, and more things to go do such as parties and holiday gatherings. These gatherings inadvertently mean a lot more food, alcohol, dessert, and more. It is also the time of year where we see family we haven’t in a long time, meet spouses of bosses and coworkers, and hopefully do it all with continuing to maintain our health, while feeling and looking amazing.
Its November. The month of Thanksgiving and I’ve enjoyed reading everyone’s posts on Facebook stating what they’re thankful for that day. Its wonderful to see all the blessing bestowed upon friends and family.
