Happy New Year!!If one of your goals for 2013 is to lose weight and/or tone that body, dancing should be on your list of activities to help you get there. I hope everyone enjoyed their New Years Eve activities as much as I did. Salsa dancing is one of my favorite things to do and I certainly Salsa’d into the New Year 2 days ago! My feet and calves are still feeling it. Thank goodness I’m not too sore for JCF-ComboFit tonight.

My 4 year old daughter loves to point out that "the sun is setting in the western sky," just like in the book Goodnight Cowgirl. A few of my blog times have been interrupted as I have had an opportunity to teach, "no Zoe, the sun is rising, in the eastern sky." Day 5 went well and ended the challenge. But fear not. This is only because, as is common for most people, SUCCESS BREEDS SUCCESS. When we experience (feel, believe, witness) success, it motivates us to want more. Yes, I had embarked on a 10-day challenge, I have now turned it in to a 28 plus 5 day challenge.

I made the leap. That leap from leaving what is unhealthy to what is healthy. My unhealthy was cramming 4 college courses (Physics, Anatomy&Physiology, Chemistry, and Human Grown & Development), teaching 5 college courses, and being a full time mom and wife. Yes, what was I thinking?
