Tried and true... Old School Training like all types of training that has been around have borrowed from each other. To me it's just taking the best of what works for you and creating a plan that fit's your goals in life.
There’s a constant focus on what is new, flashy and trendy. For example. P90X, Insanity, Zumba, Shake weight. Just kidding on the shake weight. Still wanted to see if you were still reading.
And, to a certain extent, that’s fine. But in pursuing the new, the cutting-edge and the fresh, we can sometimes overlook the basics.
Hell ya, or shall I say heck ya, for all the appropriate peeps out there. so 1 hour and 10 minutes later I finished my 35 min walk/run session, plus weights. I am trying to go back to my older routine of heavier lifting, Whaaaaaatttt? some will say, why? the answer my dear is that I seem to do better with this training for my body type. I teach 4 classes a week but its not enough especially since Im getting a wee bit older. . I am writing this blog to keep my self accountable.
