We believe that we in our modern lives are under a lot of stress. Is that really true? I was at a restaurant a few days ago when the waiter told us how an earlier customer had stressed him out (so much so that he had hopelessly bungled our order). I pointed out to him that this person was obviously in a very crappy state of mind but whereas the waiter only interacted with him for about 45 minutes, the customer had to live with himself for the rest of the day.
The National Posture Institute (NPI) will be hosting a 1-day workshop titled, “Posture Analysis and Correction” at the DCAC Washington Convention in Vienna, VA (August 2, 2012). The workshop will be held at 8:00 am-4:00 pm. NPI’s Posture Analysis Workshop is usually well attended and expectations are that the workshop will be sold out.
Contest prep can be isolating and lonely. In my immediate group of family and friends, I am the only one with a strict eating plan, 2 times a day workout schedule, and specific eating times. Socially, I have to either turn down invitations, bring my own food, or eat alone because my eating time does not correspond with everyone else’s.

I get this question a lot. The people who need a trainer are those people who haven't gotten in a habit yet of working out. Also when they do work out, they don't push themselves as hard as they need to in order to see results. In addition, they need the extra accountability of someone weighing them in weekly and to be a nutrition coach.
Summer is almost here. What have you decided to do about it. There is still time to get in shape and feel good about your body in this active time of year. I hope you aren't like many people who decide to give themselves the summer off. I think this goes back to grade school when we wanted to be free of any restrictions in the summer. There is no vacation when it comes to your health. We need to be healthy and active always to have a good quality of life. We can allow ourselves a day off here or there from exercise, and one free meal a week, but
