Do you find yourself constantly giving excuses on why you cant workout today?? It's time to stop and realize that there is always time to workout!
Here is a quick workout that you can fit into your busy schedule-->
**50 jumping jacks- 40 squats- 30 crunches- 20 push-ups- 10 Burpees (or modified Burpee) **
Do it once, twice or if you're feeling really awesome 3 times per day at least 3 days per week! Here are some times to fit your workout into your busy life.
1. Set your alarm 15 minutes earlier.
2. Right when you get home from work, before you cook dinner.
Prepare for what you know is coming, and you’ll be much better positioned to deal with what you don’t know is coming. Stop playing catch up and be ahead of the curve. Action does not always bare immediate results, but consistent action will carry you through the lean times and when success comes, it comes HUGE! So, keep from getting discouraged by any means necessary. The biggest hurdles are of our own creation.
One of my New Years resolutions this year was to lose 5 pounds. By BMI standards, I wasn't overweight. But I wanted to tone up a little more and shed a little extra weight I've slowly accumulated over the years. How was I going to do it? Increase my cardio and start a food diary.
The Warrior Dash is less than 6 weeks away and I'm Running SCARED!! Scared of the race KILLING me! Literally I am SCARED of failing, feeling horrible in the race and dying of physical exhaustion, lol!!I've been striving to get in my runs lately and feel like I am improving on them each time. At this point I've been consistently hitting it 3x's a week. Last night I ran 6 hills despite being so tempted to skip it all together...I am very happy that I did it, but my body is EXHAUSTED from them and the upper body lifting workout I did before it yesterday afternoon.
