david blaschka

I've had a passion for fitness, health, and sports all my life. I believe it in my genes. My father has been an avid walker for more than 40 years (now with my help, he's doing yoga, functional movements) and my mom has done water aerobics for 40+ years (now has added yoga / mild weights / functional movements) -- both turning 80 next year and are in Very Good Health (knock-on-wood) I decided years ago to become a Personal Trainer so I could share my passion with others. As the years have gone by I have been trying many pathways in the Exercise Professiona that is the most fun and challenging. I found that pathway 5 years ago. This pathway celebrates my special qualities and hares them with a wonderful and diverse cliental. I spend my time with clients who are surviving Parkinson's, MS, Stroke Rehab. I also spend time with the Older Adult. I have certifications in all these areas mentioned that reflect my increased knowledge and understanding to work with these amazing individuals. I will continue educating myself / even participating in Survivor Groups, Meeting with Neurologists, other Health Professionals / Care-givers, and other individuals associated with these survivors. I continue to work with a diverse cliental (ages -- 14 - 96) Most of my Older Clients seem to teach me as much as I teach them. Life is wonderful that way. I learn from my elders! I am Strong People person who shares quite a bit with my clients; a friendship and/or bond grows between us. I believe my personality is the Strongest Part of my Business. I spend the rest of my time with my two kids ages 8, 10 as a Stay-at-home Dad. This is, by far; the most challenging and rewarding job I will ever have. Shaping their lives through love, openness, trust; while volunteering in their classrooms / schools; to coaching their soccer / baseball teams; to the overall housekeeper. What more can ask for?! I will and do create time for myself to exercise very intensely - pushing my body and mind to the extreme! Passions to Balance, where Balance is something to strive for . . . . . Good Health, Good Luck; David
