The Power of a Workout

Why does coffee taste so good on rainy days! Ah, nothing like that first cup. Tina and I have been plugging away at our personal training business and are very excited. We have been best friends for over 30 years (can you believe it!) and it feels great to be working with your "sister". We always say how lucky we are to be able to do what we do: help people overcome fears, improve self-esteem and gain new self-awareness through exercise. The power of a workout is amazing. As personal trainers, to be able to see that breakthrough in clients is what makes our jobs worth every minute of our time. Even though their body might ache and sweat might be dripping down their temples, we just know they are going to have an amazing day once they take a warm shower, so we have no problem kicking their butts till then end often repeating "...Just 1 hour of your day- you can do this!".  Tina and I discuss this all the time, over freshly made juice, coffee- basically anytime we are together. How remarkable it is to see people change, even if they haven't lost those "4 or 5 lbs" yet. Once each workout is over, they leave feeling happy, beautiful and energetic, as if they could conquer the world and this matters more than numbers on a scale. It's all about feeling good inside and out and doing good on our end.
