I have been an IDEA member since 2005 and have been attending the yearly conventions there after.  What amazes me the most, is that year after year, I count down the days to the convention, and get so bummed when the final day has come and gone. This year, we had over 8,000 attendees from all over the world and over 360 educational sessions.  The greatest challenge for an attendee is what classes to choose because there are so many excellent presenters. My strategic planning is as follows:

I often find it funny when my clients give me the double take because I've told them to take a "rest" day.  Or when my Mommy Recess clients, give a big exhale of relief at the end of class when I tell them to take a moment for themselves and just breathe.

If you like eating egg salad, tuna salad, or chicken salad, instead of using mayonaise, try using plain greek yogurt instead.  1 tablespoon of mayonaise contains 10 grams of fat and 90 calories.

WOW…what a great summer indeed.  This year, to serve community needs, we changed our summer programming by adding FAMILYfitness and OH-Athlete Summer Camp.We learned from past summers that many of our morning clients did not attend fitness classes because their children were at home from school.  This gave us the idea to open summer session morning classes to FAMILYfitness.  It was extremely well received. Program Success:

It is important when you are focusing on becoming a healthy balanced person to focus on working out and the types of food you are eating. The types of food and the amounts you eat are in direct correlation on how well your body performs before, during and after a workout.

In today's culture living a healthy life style is striving to be abnormally skinny or crash diet to become thin and "healthy" looking. Not many take a step back to actually view the miracle that is our bodies and to appreciate what our bodies are really capable of doing for us.Your Body is Divine....WIth 206 sturdy bones, more than 650 dynamic muscles,12 perfectly synchronized organ systems, and over 10,000,000,000,00(trillion) life-giving human cells. Your Body is Miraculous...

My Observations and Thoughts
The first thing all of us need to remember is the fact that our bodies require fuel to operate. Much like a car if it has no fuel it will not run. Well, also like a car our bodies perform better on cleaner purer fuel. With that said could everybody eat the same food and get the same effect? The answer is no. Some people can consume wheat and process it without noticing a difference in energy. Others for example will consume wheat and find they are fatigued an hour later. The reason for this is the pure and simple fact that everybody’s bodies are different.
