Do you wear a Fitbit, fitness tracker or sports watch?  Are you getting one for Christmas? Giving somebody one?  I have a Garmin Forerunner and it vibrates every hour to entice me into movement.  I've had the watch for over a year now and I don't think I have once moved because the watch vibrated and the display clearly told me to "Move."  I do however, pay attention to it when I go on my runs, maybe too much attention.  I have been known to overdo it in an attempt to reach muchl too lofty goal.

The professional education program for fitness and allied healthcare professionals on exercise and obesity was held in Taipei, Taiwan. Almost 50 attendees participated in this live 2-day workshop trying to translate science into application in order to fight against the greatest public health challenge of our century. The content of the workshop was based on an integration of theory and practice with a focus on the effects of exercise on weight management and obesity in physically inactive adults.
