I believe that exercise is one of the most important aspects for physical and mental well-being. Fitness has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, in fact my parents met at a gym, my dad was training for a triathlon and my mom was an aerobics instructor at the time. So I guess you could say fitness is in my genes. For the last 10 years I have shared my passion for fitness with my clients as a personal trainer. I have had the opportunity to work in many diverse settings including commercial gyms, physical therapy clinics, private studios, and non-profits. Each one of these experiences has added to my ability to effectively guide any client to any fitness goal. I have found that the combination of the right program design, motivation, and accountability is the best way to help someone achieve their goal. I am a Corrective Exercise Specialist which allows me to assess your posture and flexibility and implement a strategy that will strengthen underused muscles, lengthen tight muscles, and get your body moving better and feeling great. This is great if you're trying to work with an existing injury or just want to prevent one from happening in the first place. I’m also a Performance Enhancement Specialist which allows me to design programs for athletes or athletes at heart. So I can help you jump higher, run faster, and stay focused. I also have had great success with helping clients lose weight and keep it off. Helping clients lose weight safely, and then maintaining a healthy weight, is one of the most challenging and yet most rewarding parts of my job. I’ve seen transformations that are life changing for my client and for me. A lifestyle change that prioritizes your health will not only change your physical body, it changes how you see the world and how the world sees you. Then the most amazing thing happens, not only do you set a good example for the people you care about most, for myself and the others around you... You become an inspiration!
