A recent transplant from New York City to Kailua Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii, Jordan has spent over 15 years working with people to enhance their health, fitness and mobility. He brings many fields of study to his practice including 18 years of fitness, strength and conditioning and over 10 years training in various forms martial arts. He’s also studied movement and breath work such as; chi gung, yoga, Pilates, the Alexander and Linklater techniques. Jordan holds fitness certifications from American Council on Exercise, Aerobics and Fitness Association of America and Mad Dogg Athletics. He has trained and recieved certification as a tai chi teacher from Grandmaster William CC Chen and holds a certification as a healing arts practicioner / wellness coach from author, teacher and pioneer in the healing arts field; Tom Monte. In New York City Jordan taught and trained at several locations including the 14th Street Y, the 92nd Street Y and corporate facilities such as Goldman’s and Horizon Media through Plus One Health Management. He has published articles and conducted lectures on health, fitness and nutrition and has competed in national and international tai chi push hands tournaments where he has been awarded numerous medals.
