Some people love running, enjoy the gym, are inspired by bicycling, live to swim..., but I never found any activity that really inspired me. Then one day I stumbled into a Pilates studio and from my first session I was hooked. I had found an exercise methodology that was effective, challenging and efficient. One that strengthened every part of my body while stretching it and only took an hour. Most importantly, Pilates engaged my brain in the same way as it engaged my body. Pilates requires staying focused so you have to leave all your day-to-day worries behind and for an hour, simply focus on using your mind to work your body. Pilates focuses on strengthening and stretching your body and along the way you improve your posture, gain flexibility, balance and improve your mental focus.
