I am a military wife and mother of four with a passion for all things fitness and nutrition. I was always athletic, and my dad made sure I played every sport available – with explicit instructions to keep up with the boys. In college, I didn’t gain the freshman 15, I gained the freshman 40 – despite my participation on the varsity crew team – largely because I stopped listening to my mom’s basic food principles of keeping it fresh, simple, and natural. Since then, I’ve lost the 40 pounds, some of them multiple times after each pregnancy. I am a certified personal trainer, Spinning and TRX instructor, and I enjoy sharing what I have learned with my children, my peanut-butter-and-jelly husband, and you!

    I've rarely had an instructor that pushes me harder than I would myself but Megan does! I appreciate her adapting the course to the music. She picks the perfect songs that make you want to keep up with the pace we're working on.
    She knows a lot about the body's metabolism and plans workouts to maximize whatever the focus is for that day, whether it's endurance, building muscle, etc.

    I was lucky enough to take Megan's Tabata class at Anytime Fitness in Kansas City. I really really enjoyed that class. She mixed it up every time and it was very enjoyable! I was able to really strengthen my core which was really really weak from years of not working out and having two children. I loved that she gave different options to everyone based on our abilities/weaknesses and we were all able to keep up and be successful. She was always very friendly and it was a blast learning so much from her. She really knows her stuff!! She kept me going and motivated me a lot! I have nothing but excellent things to say about my experience working with Megan! I really miss that class!!!

    If you want to take a spinning class that has great music, is challenging, technical, builds endurance, stamina, and strength, then I would definitely suggest taking Megan's spin class. She is a wealth of knowledge and has so much to offer her spin class that you will feel like you are getting so much more than just a workout in her class. She really knows what she's doing and talking about! I am already missing her classes!

    What can I say about Megan??? She is just AWSOME!
    I have been taking her TRX classes and have noticed great improvement on my core strength. She is fun and is a person that will push you to bring the best out of you. She is very motivating person. She takes care of her clients and will never have you do anything that will hurt you. She is also a very good friend and i feel so blessed to have her as my trainer.

    I have had such a great time getting to know Megan while working at Brickhouse Cardio Club! She is an absolute professional -- dedicated to giving her clients a safe and effective workout. I've had the pleasure of attending her TRX classes, which have been challenging in such a great way! Megan has the ability to push her clients without being overbearing or intimidating, which is a fantastic trait. She is also able to show modifications as needed, making her classes accessible to a range of clients. I've also had the opportunity to attend a couple of her Spin classes at Gruber Fitness Center. I'd been turned off from Spin many years ago, but decided to give her class a try. I'm glad I did -- not only did she make me feel comfortable and help me set up my bike, I got a tremendous workout and actually ended up enjoying myself!
