healthy aging

By alaldin benissa
I have been away from blogging for a few weeks to take some time and focus on a few clients to take there lifestyle to the next level. This week I wanted to really explore why some people spend so much money on anti aging products and surgeries when god and mother nature already provides us with the best anti aging formula from healthy food and lifestyle changes. Many people dont know that sleeping early and waking up at sunrise helps regovinte and re vitalise your skin, also by reducing you caffeine intake and increase your water intake this helps keep your skin fresh and hydrated giving it a nice glowing youthful look. There are even healthy food like berries, dark chocolate, avocado and fish...These types of food have great anti aging benefits from antioxidants to omega 3's and they help our body stay healthy, glowing and younger for longer and allow our body to age organically. I hope we all think before we spend our money on unnecessary surgeries and anti aging products and lets invest in mother nature to help us age gracefully and happily. Wishing you all the health and wealth... AB

The search for healthy“

By alaldin benissa
Its been a fun and busy week working with clients, but what I kept coming back to is the fact that so many of us have a different defection of what being healthy is“yep we all read and listen to different information and think differently but what we must all start to realized is that there is so much information out there about healthy living and not all of it is true. So we have to be wise about our health and research the information we read or hear and make the right lifestyle changes that will best improve our overall health. I say this because a lot of us take information giving to us from media and super brands as if its gold, like goods that have low fat advertised or information saying that banana's makes you fat. These statements are either used to cover the truth about something or giving you a false vision to stop you from asking more important question, for example what is the carbohydrate and sugar count in a low fat or low calorie product. After all we do want to know that the low fat or low calorie product doesn't have high level of ingredients that will harm us like high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavoring and other ingredients that will affect our health.   So the next time we go shopping I would like us all to take a moment and read the labels of the food we pick up and buy and if we see anything that is not just real ingredients like carrots, apple ginger ect“then please just leave that item out of your shopping basket because that how we all can make the right step forward towards being more wiser about our health and living a life we love..               Wishing you all the best health,   AB

sugarholic...The devil in our food

By alaldin benissa
this topic has been on my mind for some time now because of how crazy food companies have gotten by adding sugar to almost everything we eat and guess what most of us don't even know we are consuming it“that's right you might be shock to know that if you are one of the many people who pick up food without taking the time to read the labels then your most likely a victim of added sugar in your food. I don't know how crazy this might sound to some of you but this weekend I went out to see what are the most craziest places these companies put hidden sugars in our food and my mind was blown away by the unlikely places you would find added sugar. the first food people need to be careful of consuming to much of is so called healthy oats bars and healthy sounding cookies“Yep a so called healthy granola bar can contain a whooping 13g of sugar, that's 3 teaspoons and a 130kcals per bar so having a few bars a day can really affect your over all health and waist line. the second food item to be wary of is a the subway sandwich! that's right a 6inch sub is not as healthy as you might think, a sweet onion teriyaki sub has a crazy 18grams of sugar (4 teaspoons) and a juggernaut 380kcals for a 6inch sub with no cheese or added sauces. the last item I what to talk about is everyone's favorite drink these days starbuck coffee, yep they are loaded with sugar just take these two examples for instances a caffe latte grand has 17grams of sugar and 168kcals but what shocked me the most was the vanilla frappuccino grand that smashed a mind blowing 69grams yep 69grams of sugar that's 15 teaspoons and a unbelievable 460kcals, that's a whole healthy real food meal in cup of coffee, now that's crazy. when I saw these numbers I could not believe my eyes that we spend so much of our hard earned cash on items that are making us fatter, sicker and depressed, when we can spend that money on good high quality healthy food that will give us great energy every day, glowing skin, healthy bodies and even help us to deal with life stressful times by keeping our minds clear and Relaxed . I want you all to know at the end of the day, where we spend our hard earned cash has a major affect on our health and lifestyle and the next time we are out dining or just grabbing a coffee let us be wise by making the right choice spend it on Real food and lets avoid products that deceives us with low fat and healthy wording. This kind of blind eating is what leads to our children getting diabetes before we do and why we are living sick and unhappy lives, so I hope we all can make a 1% improvement on our health every day and see a brighter and healthier tomorrow. Wishing you all the best of health AB

love yourself as you love others....

By alaldin benissa
What a week it has been full of rollercoaster events. These events however have been a blessing in disguise, They have made me think about the importance of loving one self. I realized that many of us including myself tend to love others and forget to love ourselves... dont get me wrong and stop loving your family and friends, then begin to be selfish! That's not what im talking about, but instead share your love and dont leave yourself out! Only when you love yourself can you truly love others and share your heart and soul with the people you love and care about. l also want to point out that when we love ourselves and share that love with the people around us, that helps strengthen our emotion and enables us to live a better and healthier life because recent studies have shown that emotion has a lot to do with illness, so we can overcome these health challanges and prepare our body, mind and soul to shield ourselves from life's illness. Keep this in mind as the weekend approaches us and let us not forget ourselves, spend a little time loving ourselves, live our dreams and aspirations and let that love shine to all the people around us as they see us happy and healthy for many years to come. Wishing you all the health always AB

Organic food expensive...really???

By alaldin benissa

Today I came across an article online about another food contamination in IKEA Stores, This really made me think why do people complain about organic food and how it is more expensive then so called Normal food (conventional GMO junk)...lets be honest if we bought the right amount of food we needed for our bodies to fully function healthy then we would not need to buy so much food and spend so much unnecessary money because honestly most of us who do average to no physical activities only need so much intake of nutrition per day for the body to function 100%...so why do we overload it with wasted nutrition and end up spending more money, wasting more food because we don’t end up eating all of it and then to top it off we complain about how organic food is to expensive for the average person. I personally love eating organic food and you know what it doesn't cost me a fortune every month, I eat what my body needs and everyday my body, mind and sprite feels great.

I must say this sad tragedy all falls on our shoulders because we decide what to buy and how much to buy and if we all stopped throwing our hard earned cash to so called cheaper normal food(not normal) we would all wake up the next morning feeling like superstars instead of spending the whole day complaining about headaches, stomach craps, mood swings and the list goes on……I will leave you with this simple advice "buy food your body needs and don’t spend it on what YOU want" so the next time your at your local grocery remembered these simple words and buy organic, you will see how your grocery bill is a lot smaller and cheaper without sacrificing your health.

Wishing you all the best of health always
