Still with me on developing a habit? Whatever it is make sure you do your new habit every day best advice do it at the same time. It will be easier to remember and easier to keep on track. Don't think oh no I missed .....just get to it! Forget the excuses and keep evolving you can do it!
Than I thought. Kudos for chipping away and not giving up right. You cannot get frustrated with yourself. Making a change is never easy and sometimes takes careful planning. Don't overwhelm yourself take it one day at a time or rather one habit at a time. With that being said I have blogged 3 x's next week it will be everyday or will it???? If you have been successful and have attended to your new habit everyday awesome!
Start Simple – Don’t try to completely change your life in one day. It is easy to get over-motivated and take on too much. If you wanted to study two hours a day, first make the habit to go for thirty minutes and build on that.
okay so I missed a couple of days but I am here once again working on getting into the good habit of blogging each day. Getting into a new habit is not always that easy thats why you need to stick to it each day. By the end of these 30 days and by striving to blog each day I should have this habit on lock! Every time I try to develop a new habit I usually fall off the wagon at day 4 proud to have accomplished the habit for that long. Interestingly this habit breaks just in time for the weekend and while I know I should be sticking with my habit I justify not doing it. The mind is a powerful tool and used often and with positive affirmations can take you far. So I am starting with a fresh slate and a clear head day 1 is today and I am ready. Its 8:48 and I am off to a good start 29 days 16 hours left.
Tip 1 - A habit usually takes 30 days to make it stick.
As I began to make my lunch I decided on a delicious veggie sandwich. Thinking that was a good choice I began to disect the contents of the sandwich yummy poblano chile roasted of course, spinach leaves, tomato, red onion and Jalapeno greek yogurt dip with 2 pc of Tuscan Boule bread. Here's to a large dose of Vit A and Vit C and you guessed a spicy sandwich which lead to my choice to have a mich ultra with the lunch only 95 cal and refreshing when poured into a frosty mug. The cookies well what can I say when the keebler box becons. So what is the point to this tale sometimes things start out on the right track and then become detoured the point well it depends on what your goal is for the day. Today I am livin in the moment.
Day one of the convention was a blast up at 6 a headed to the convention hall and registered by 6:35a went over to the local Starbucks and enjoyed some breakfast and meet and greet with various attendee's shared the ALM Bubo with a few of the in line folks "man on the street" interviews LOL so fun then back to the convention center for the Zumba Training loads of fun. Well dinner just arrived so more tomorrow.
2 days and counting cannot wait to hit LA and this years convention. I have my checklist and a notebook. Taking alot of interesting workshops this year. As always IDEA is a must to spice up my teaching for the year.
