Happy Easter... Happy April Fools Day!

This morning I went for the a wonderful Easter morning walk! I love spending time in the most beautiful Cathedral ever....IN NATURE! No one to judge you, no one to try to impress, no having to fancy myself up, and I can sing, and pray, or cry all I want!! The birds were singing their Easter tunes..we even seen what my gal pal, Melissa thought was a fox.... or a very large squirrel! :) I feel renewed, cleansed and more connected to MY spirituality! I feel like I can conquer any challenge tossed my way! HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

And who can believe that tomorrow is April 1st?  Not I!!  I've been training several gals since January and they are all seeing unbelievable results!  Some are finding they have inner strength they never knew they could tap in to!  Some are finding their "waists"!  And some are finding a love in something they would have never imagined was possible... a love in themselves.. to take care of their bodies, minds and holding on to the committment they made to themselves and to me... to work hard at finding their level of fitness!  My new SPRING motto/quote... "YOU MUST SUCCUMB TO CHALLENGE, IF YOU WANT TO SEE CHANGE!"  I myself, have committed to "clean eating." I know I will have, not so perfect days, but I am ready to treat my body like the gift that it is, and stop kidding myself about the foods I put in it... THIS is my latest challenge in order to see change...

 

I would like to take time now to repost my fees... I am very flexible in times, and will to help work out what we can, if you're interested in working with me.  As it gets warmer, we'll be taking our workouts outside.. studies have shown, that we work harder outside, and I'm excited for the chance to utilize some different workouts!

Spring is Around the Corner!

How are your fitness goals coming along? Are you staying motivated? Keeping inspired? Tomorrow is March 1st! Spring is right around the corner! Are you where you wanted to be 2 months from possibly having set that fitness resolution? I would love to help get you where you want to be before capri weather comes about! Or help get your motivation back and get you back on track! I've been working with several gals now since the 1st of the year, and we are having a great time! It's hard work, but Marilyn, Nichole, Missy, Josie and Christine can attest to how rewarding it is to push yourself, mentally and physically! They've found new energy levels, self esteem and strength! They've all done an amazing job and I thank them for letting me help them in their journey! What do you want most in the new year!??

Happy New Year!  What's your NYE resolution this year?  Does it involve losing weight, getting fit, eating better or maybe preparing for swimsuit season?  I'd love to help you create new fitness habits and turn them in to a life style change!  One that you can manage daily, that won't get frustrating and force you to give up in the first month!  I know the forces that cause one to lose focus, and I can help you stay on track and keep you motivated, to push you outside your box and help you become the BEST you, you can be!  I won't lie!  It does take discipline, and it can feel like hard work.  But together, we can do this!  Have as much faith in yourself as I have in you! 

Here are the packages I have put together.  If nothing works for you, and/or you have some suggestions on what might work, please feel free to contact me personally!

All packages are in 4 week increments and will be 1 hour sessions.  This will include a 30 minute fitness assessment, nutritional guidance, weigh-ins, measurements and take home assignments!

I am continuing to further my knowledge and education in order to meet my clients’ personal needs and requests.  I plan to add TRX suspension training, fibromyalgia and exercise, nutrition for health and wellness and kettlebell training.

My first Fitness Journal Mag from Idea Fit!!

Hello All!

So, I hadn't elaborated on my current "own" physical fitness!  Just 2 weeks ago, I had surgery done on both feet!  Due to my RA, I had to have my big toe on my left foot fused, to keep the deterioration from continuing, and I had all my hardward from my right ankle, taken out!  It's been tough having to be laid up for this long, and several more weeks to go.  So, like so many others, I've had to come to the realization that I need to take control of what I can at the moment when it comes to my health and wellness.  That is my nutrition...and like everyone else, this time of year that can be really tough!  Just at the right time, I received my very first Fitness Journal magazine from Idea Fit!  So much helpful information!  From forming healthy habits, slowly and making them attainable!  To wonderful recipes, to quick and easy workouts to squeeze in during the busy-ness of the season!  Some things I would like to share that I took away from my reading and that really talked to me at this moment, was to keep your goals small, in order to keep them real and to have a highter success rate!  Also, Learn patience!  It's a journey, and people fail because they want instant results!  Together we can all be successful!  Lets strive to "INSPIRE" each other!

I am extremely passionate about health and wellness! Having conquered my own weight issues, utilizing Weight Watchers, I am compelled to help others like myself! I suffer from Rheumatoid arthritis, and I was fortunate enough to find a great friend/personal trainer/mentor, Terri Good, that showed me that anything can be done by any BODY as long as you have the WANT and DRIVE for it! I loved nothing more than the feeling I get after a hard workout, but mostly, I love sharing that feeling with others and seeing the look of accomplishment on others faces! I know what it is to be an emotional eater, and the mental blocks one can face when it comes to getting "to that right place" in your head to be ready to make the lifestyle changes needed to be healthier, fitter and have a better overall quality of life. In October 2012, I took and passed my ACE Certified Personal Trainers exam. I worked hard, studied hard and have been working with friends of mine who have some astonishing before and during, pictures. No after, as we're still in the process! I am ready to start building a clientele! I'm eager to start helping YOU or others you know!  And my promise to you, is I will work hard, motivate/inspire, and help you become the BEST YOU, there is!
