This will be the first in what I hope is a continuous weekly blog in part on healthy lifestyle and general veiws on life itself, not that the purpose of this is to rant and rave about anything so much as it is to provide advice and if readers want to empart advice that would be fine too.
I've been training different people for about a decade now part time and just recently decided to do it full time and at the writing of this blog have been training as a full time job for about 48 hours. It's funny how that can make me sound really experienced and knowing nothing at the exact same time. Then again I would say that describes the majority of professionals in this world. I say that not to insenuate that the average professional doesn't know anything rather that the more information we gain in life it seems that it opens up so many more doors to new information that we never finish learning.
So I suppose that my advice for this first blog is to never stop learning and as an aside never stop trying as well. To often I and my fellow trainers, educators, or coaches get people who believe that it's too late for them, that they can't learn the new thing or can't accomplish the goals that they've set, but the reality is it never is. Sixty year old women can learn to swim and 500 pound people can become healthy.
