How many of you have gone on the latest diet, lost the weight, and gained it back? I cringe when I hear the word "diet" because think of it... "DIE-IT." It sounds like a death sentence because it essentially is. DIE-IT's have a beginning and an end. After years of riding on the self-destructive diet not-so-merry-go-round I finally discovered a way of relating to food that is nurturing, self and earth-loving, and sustainable. One I like to refer to as a "LIVE-IT" way of nutrition, also known as Clean Eating. I recently picked up an issue of Clean Eating magazine and got all warm and fuzzy when I read the magazines philosophy, which states; "The soul of clean eating is consuming food in its most natural state , or as close to it as possible. It is NOT a diet; it's a lifestyle approach to food and its preparation, leading to an improved life - one meal at a time." (sniffle sniffle) Isn't that beautiful?!
