Getting bored with doing your cardiovascular exercise all at once?

By Grant Hughes

Do you find it hard to maintain your focus while performing cardiovascular workouts all at once on one machine?  If you said yes, then I am right there with you.  Especially when the weather is nice outside.
Well, I have some good news for you.  The next time you find yourself thinking about all the other things that you could be doing or how bored you are do this.  Hop off that piece of equipment!  Yes, I did say that.  Then incorporate your cardiovascular and resistance training together.
How?
For example, if you are emphasizing your lower body in your weight training workout choose 2-6 exercises to target your lower body.  Then you would perform 1 set of each exercise, immediately follow that with a burst of cardiovascular exercise of the equipment of your choice for 3-5 minutes.  Then you would repeat that process for 30-60 minutes.  Got it!  OK!  GO DO IT!  You will burn more fat, prevent gettting bored and your body will thank you for it.
Yours in health,
Grant Hughes
