As we age the area of our brains responsible for learning and memory actually shrink. Numerous studies have suggested that aerobic exercise may be able to reverse this process. You don’t even have to be a Jane Fonda nut. Three times a week, 30-40 minutes, start walking and work up a sweat. You could easily burn close to 300 calories – Think after about 12 times you have melted a pound (3500 calories) and improved your memory, keeping your brain fit.
As any three year old knows, staying still for too long can kill you!
