GOLF! Why do we love it and Hate it at the same time?

By Jonathan Fisher
I can honestly say I love golf and have been very lucky to have started at a young age. I was fortunate to not have to deal with knowing the bad swings, shots, or playing in the trees. At that age it was all fun and new. Now fast forward 30yrs and I find my emotions are not so much in check! The frustration of a bad shot now overrides that youthful joy! Sort of! You see, now that I am older, I understand where that bad shot came from, whereas, when I was 13 I had no idea. With that knowledge I now can correct my swing and forget the bad shot. Well we really don't forget and that can be the reason why we hate it at the same time. I know for me it's the challenge of wanting to improve my game. I think for those that started late its an even bigger challenge to overcome and so it takes a lot more effort to play. I can now say that I am extremely happy about my new venture in Golf Performance, with my experience of 25yrs in the fitness industry and 30yrs of golf it is a perfect match and I am opening up a Golf performance studio in Bellevue, and its called GO Long Fitness. I will be blogging about golf performance and how to bring back that love of the game.
