We hope that everyone is having a wonderful summer so far! As we kick off the summer let's talk about Goal Setting. Starting new programs and making changes in our lives require us to have perseverence, discipline, and the right motivation and inspiration to keep us excited to continue down our path of Health and Wellness. In order to make sure that you stay on the right path remember that you need to set attainable and realistic goals. Many times clients will say, "I want to tone my arms", or, "I want to flatten my stomach." These are things that occur already with a vigorous, custom workout routine. Clients should stay away from the scale and the idea of losing weight and create tangible goals that will help them feel good once they are accompished! For example, have try to set these goals: "I want to do an unassisted pullup", "I want to run a mile non-stop", or "I want to walk up and down my stairs without being winded". Setting these types of goals allows for greater success!
