I have been training my new client Joe since Feb 22 of this year. When we first met Joe weighted 223 pounds, his waist measured 47 he was pre diabetic and was hypertensive. Today, May 25 Joe weighs 194.5 his waist is 43 his blood sugar is under control. In fact, his wife took him shopping for a new suit, he went from a 48 to a 38....
Yesterday he said "I am so happy that "the weight" is coming off... "the weight" I said, did you mean to say "your weight", better yet "my weight"? Of course it's coming off he's made the necessary changes in his life to have this amazing success. Has it been a series of obstacles? Maybe, it depends on what that means, has it been a "struggle" no, has it been "difficult" maybe, has it been "hard" it depends.
The attitude of the sedentary overweight client is " This is too hard, I can't make the necessary changes.." The attitude of Joe has always been "I need to change or I won't live to see my next birthday when I turn 66.
If nothing changes, then nothing will change.
