Sure I feel like I walk the line. What does my future hold in four weeks time? I graduate from the University of the Cumberlands with my Masters in Educational Leadership. I did maintain one personal training certification as well as my CPR training just in case, but also because part of me has a hard time letting go of things I feel are valuable. These past two years have been an incredible journey, and I can only wonder what is ahead. Will I end up back in the world of fitness or will I find myself in higher education? Those are things I have no clue about. Guess the future will present itself as it unfolds day by day.
Sometimes it's good to take a pause in career to reach a little higher to see if you are capable of becomming more. In October 2013 I stopped personal training full time to start reaching for a Masters degree and I am almost finished. I am no clue if I will end up working as a personal trainer again full time, but I kept my foot in that door by remaining certified while reaching for other opportunities. However, it's important to keep reaching in all aspect's of our lives.
Why I do what I do. I have a deep respect for the human body. It's a complex set of systems filled with even more complex sub systems just to perform the miracle of life. When evaluating this magnificent gift we have been given I’m saddened when I see people take better care of their car. I work in the field of general mechanics of the human body. I am proud of the work I do. Kinesthetic sciences, dynamic movement of the human body. It's so deeply interlaced into my soul that I choose to obtain a BA from MSU in the area. Heck, I'm sure it's even made its way into my DNA. Think of me as mechanic you see for routine matience. Keep that body in check because your not going to get the big man up stairs to let you trade it in for a new one.

PS.....One of my favorite thoughts of motivation is changing erasing stero-types about fitness......like that one....hit like a girl. (always found that funny)
