3 BEST TIME TO EAT CARBS

CarbohydratesNutrition EnergyEnergy Metabolismprotein
By Shane Mclean
( Hint when your body needs them the most)
Carbs are NOT evil in these 3 situations

1. MORNING- You have fasted all night(hopefully), so when you wake up there is more room 'in the tank" to store carbs. Good examples are Steel cut oatmeal and Yogurt.
2. 3HRS BEFORE EXERCISE- This will provide enegry for your body to train and prevent your body from using alternative sourc...es of enegry, like muscle loss. For example, whole wheat bread.
3. POST TRAINING- Your muscles are 'sponge like" after training and muscles need to soak up extra enegry-like carbs. If you just provide your muscles protein after training without carbs, the body will use protein for recovery and take it away from repairing muscles. Use quick acting carbs like berries in a protein shakes.

HOPE THIS HELPS!
