So we are coming to the end of 12 week weight loss contest where I train. U have been blessed with to amazing groups of people. They are all individuals but work as a team and sometimes as teams united. I am sure that some sort of "Tribe" has formed. I hope that they don't hate me by now and still include me and that I am not shunned from this new "Tribe". Now being in there shoes 4 years ago at the=is time I was really kind of scared for it all to end. Even though the workouts were 7 days a week and brutal, I was still looking to what was next. If you get to a place where you need to do maintenance, and are not looking to lose any more, what do you do? How do you now accomplish this? This is actually harder than getting it off in the first place. Here's why: It's way to easy to just fall back into the same routine before you started this journey.
You need to make a new commitment. You need to commit to STAY fit. Continue the Tribe functions once a week or so and KEEP this part of your life routine. It doesn't have to consume you, but it does need to be part of your life FOREVER! I do things to challenge myself. I sign up for silly mud infested , barb wire laden, wall jumpin over fun events that I can do with my Tribe and my family. I plan events with my Tribe like maybe a dodge-ball league, movie night, or a 5 k that we can do together. "Something" is the point. Just do something!
It will take some time to adjust to your new body and get in tune with it. You feel great! You want to stay feeling great. So you need to keep going. I can tell you this. You did not put all the work into your body to let your self fall off the wagon into the same old rut. So just when you though you were done. I leave you with this........
YOU ARE NEVER DONE!
You will get all the sleep you want when your dead!
It's All about CORE,
