If you concentrate on health as your goal by moving your body everyday and introducing more whole, natural foods into your diet then weight loss just happens as a by-product (this fact is key to remember). If you focus on weight loss then people tend to get caught up in the numbers....the scale, body measurements, weighting food etc. It doesn't have to be that complicated.
The holidays are quickly approaching. Are you ready?1) plan all your meals 2) eat out no more than 2 times per week 3) get lots of sleep 4) exercise daily 5) plan for all of your cheat meals 6) relieve your stress daily with meditation, yoga, exercise, massage, accupuncture 7) Stick to your grocery list and buy only what you need; avoid overeating. 8) eat healthy 90% of the time. 9) make a decision to maintain a healthy weight and do it! 10) spend MOST of your time with freinds and family that will not sabotage you by over-eating, exposure to bad or unhealthy food or habits.
Let me start off by saying that the title is a bit of a misnomer. I’ll certainly talk about how to strengthen your abs and the muscles found around your mid-section but the core is so much more than that. The core is really made up of any muscle that connects to the pelvis to help stabilize the lumbo-pelvic-hip region. It’s also made up of all the muscles that stabilize the spine. Given that, I’m sure you would be surprised when I tell you that even the hamstrings, quadriceps, lat muscles and butt muscles are all muscles of the core.
Lots of weight loss programs are available nowadays and fitness centers have come up to keep you fit. But for some of you this fitness programs or certain diet plans may not work out due to the difference in the digestion pattern of your body.
The fitness industry is the worst about hyper-focusing on weight loss. The other day I saw a sign advertising that you could get high school skinny from a weight loss and fitness plan, and I wondered if this was a healthy approach to fitness and weight loss. I don’t want to discount the power of weight loss. At times, weight loss can be medically necessary, a life or death situation. However, most of the population might be happy with shedding a few pounds, but it doesn’t mean that they wouldn’t be fine if they didn’t lose the weight.
I love my Super Shake and you wanna know why? It's healthy, nutritious, satisfying and it tastes GREAT! I have tried other products that are already done for you, all you have to do is add water or milk. They tasted chalky or smelled strange.
