Every so often . . . not too often . . . I give my wellness workshop at Glen Ivy Hot Springs and it resonates with someone. They come up after class and ask me if I have a "program" or a "dvd" or something they can buy to take home. Someone asked me that today. I smiled and then told them . . . and I will tell you too:
Physical. Emotional. Financial. Spiritual. Mental. When was the last time you took personal inventory of these centers that make up YOU? What areas are you balanced in? Where are you over drawn or over committed? Where are you thriving and on top of the world and what areas needs nurturing and restoration?
Acknowledging that a mess was made of a situation = good. Not acknowledging that something needs to be done about it = bad. Wrestler translation: you may get in deep for a takedown, but if you don't finish and finish quickly, it is worth nothing. Life translation = implentation and follow-up is key to success.
The best way to get results with a client is to create a completely transparent nonjudgemental relationship. One way to do this is to have a dounut or two every few months to communicate your humanity, empathy, and not so out of touch grasp on reality. We all live with what I call real life obstacles but they are all things that we can overcome if we are gut wrenchingly honest with ourselves about what we want and are capable of. Just look at Demi Moore in G.I Jane. One-arm push-ups = very nice, passing all the other tests despite being ganged up on by all the men =&
I am going to try and keep this blog short and sweet but I felt that I needed to start writing and what better way to get back to blogging then an important topic as self-confidence and believing in your own success because at the end of the day you are the driver to achieving your dreams, success and happiness.
Firstly I want to say sorry about the delay for this week blog post, I got a little caught up with finishing my new online coaching site that is now on its soft opening and will be fully live very soon.
