Winter is coming, so brace yourselves! Don’t retreat, because the cold can actually be good for you. Exercising outside in the winter can strengthen your immune system and make your training more efficient due to thermoregulation (the body has an increased pulse rate which immensely increases energy consumption). However, there are few things you should know before you go outside, because the cold can also be harmful, because we all have an individual temperature sensitivity, meaning that it’s not enough to take a thermometer as the only indicator of temperature.
