Looks like Monday the 20th is the hottest day this week, followed by milder temperatures.
Monday: Gym indoor strength workout get all the major muscle groups low reps - high intensity
Tuesday: Hike, Walk or Jog 30 to 60 minutes
Wednesday: Interval training with total body exercises that cover all muscle groups.
Thursday: Light walk and 30-60 minutes of flexibility
Friday: Recreation, golf, long bike ride, run etc. Fun and active.
Saturday: Same as Friday or off.

I was listening to a fitness specialist speak.
He said something that I have been trying to tell my friends and clients in regards to being fit and getting results.
He said "If you want better results, you've got to do something different".
I get that. If I do the same thing as everyone else I will get the same thing that they do. Simple but true.
Get out and do something that most people won't do and get something special in return.

When it's hot outside workout early in the morning or late evening if you plan to do an outdoor workout. Also bring plenty of water. Just a reminder.
If you can, do your indoor workouts on those days and save the outdoor activities to do on good weather days with friends or family.

This is a video I took yesterday at a kitesurfing competition at the Marina Park in Pittsburgh, CA. You need to be in shape to do this sport. When you can use your body a new a whole world is open to you. What do you want to do with your fitness?

Now that Tough Mudder is over, it's easy to lose that feeling. But you don't have to.
The feeling I'm talking about is feeling in SHAPE. It feels good and you worked hard to earn it.
So get a plan an put it to action.

Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday are going to be the hottest days this week so, lets make those indoor gym days and save the fun outdoor activities for the weekend.
Tuesday: Do an indoor interval training workout with stretching to finish.
Wednesday: Strength training day.The big 3 squats, pull-ups, and push-ups or bench press with 3 floor abdominal exercises.
Thursday: Myofascial release with a foam roller and 30-45 minutes of stretching and core strength
Friday: Run, jog, bike or hike 1-2 hrs.
Saturday: Your favorite physical activity.
Sunday: Pick a fun outdoor activity to do with friends or family.
