    Prior to working with Carol I was experiencing a lot of pain in my knees. Going up stairs, riding a bicycle, or using the step machines at the fitness center were things I avoided. Working with her over the last few years has taught me how to balance my body so that now when I work out I'm not putting all of my weight into my knees. This has helped to significantly reduce my knee pain. I'm able to use more of the cardio machines so that my workouts have more variety.

    I spend a lot of time driving for long periods. When I would get out of the car it would take awhile before I could straighten up completely and move without being stiff. Since working with Carol I have noticed that this is no longer the case. Even getting out of bed in the morning is much better. I don't feel like my body needs to be stretched out.

    As I've gotten older working out to build muscle and lose weight is not my priority. I'm more interested in working to improve my mental and physical health. This is what I'm getting with my current workouts.

    Carol has provided me with workouts that I can do at home, on vacation, or at my local fitness center. This allows me to continue my routines no matter what else is going on in my life. Not working out regularly makes me feel blah, so having these workouts are very important to me.

    It is very easy to talk to her. I know that she listens to me and always follows up if I have any problems. I don't feel this way when I work with the trainers at my local fitness center.

    I'm a retired disabled firefighter do to a on-duty accident.I suffer from a cervical spine injury and shoulder injury which has caused me daily pain. It has kept me from doing most of the physical activities that I enjoyed doing before my accident eleven years ago.Do to my inactivity,I have become weakened and slowly but surely getting to the point of not being able to do a lot of the basics of living,(standing up from a seated position,walking very far,bending down to pick things up,ect.).Over the years I have gone to physical therapy, which has helped to strengthened the actual injury, but did not do anything for the rest of of me which was failing miserably.Since starting with Carol 8 weeks ago my progress has been amazing to me. Her approach to fitness has been great.Her knowledge of how the body should work is amazing. A lot of the everyday pains that I have been feeling have improved dramaticlly. Although the injury to my spine and damage to my shoulder will never go away, Carol's help in building balance and strength has helped tremedously. Thanks Carol

    Since the moment I met Carol, she's had a tremendous focus on me, catering every session to obtain my personal fitness goal. Upon our initial meeting, Carol made every effort to understand my lifestyle, and in the respect of fitness, how I stayed disciplined over the years, while working out in the compounds of my own home. Her approach to my fitness routine is to teach by example, while educating and introducing techniques that are amazingly conducive to how my body operates. Carol has a deep understanding of how the body works and an innate way of incorporating that knowledge into each individuals program. I feel incredibly fortunate to train with Carol. I know her functional approach and spectacular attitude will guarantee a healthy mindset, great stability and a fitness level that surpasses all expectations.

    I was recommended to Carol after I injured my hamstring and Achilles heel two years ago. While she works on overcoming individual injuries she also looks at the whole person and helps train you to manage the health of your whole body.

    For example, she helped me realize that years of sitting and working at a computer day in and day out has done more damage to my muscles and alignment that even the direct injuries I suffered and she has worked out a training plan to keep my whole body in alignment.

    Carol’s program and positive outlook has helped this 60 year-old reclaim her body and I look forward to working with her to help me age healthy and gracefully.

    She is unfailingly upbeat, encouraging and kind. I would recommend her to anyone willing to look beyond the traditional personal training model. She works with the whole body an person

    I began training with Carol a few years ago. I noticed results very quickly and have been much more in tune with my body, which has improved my athletic performance immensely. More importantly, working out with Carol has helped alleviate the pain in my upper back due to a previous ski accident. Carol has taught us different techniques on breathing, focus and stress reduction. She is familiar with each of her clients' limitations and customizes their workouts. She is good about pushing for improvement but always with a smile and the best intentions. Oh, yes...I'm sleeping like a baby now with my new knee pillow! I couldn't be happier.
