Rachel Cicigline

Albany, NY 12205

Rachel is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Nutrition Specialist, and Corrective Exercise Specialist. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology and has over 15 years of experience in health, fitness, and environmental science.

Helping people achieve their goals, while finding out who they really are in the process, is Rachel’s passion. She believes that people can truly dig deep and find out endless information about themselves as they grow in their health and fitness journey. Nothing makes Rachel happier than watching the individuals she works with transform and complete the goals they set out to achieve.

Fitness is not just exercise; it is a combination of physical, mental, emotional, and yes, sometimes spiritual, health. Rachel is not just a trainer: She is a coach, friend, shoulder, guide, and powerhouse of knowledge (albeit sometimes useless knowledge!) and is always ready to believe in you until you believe in yourself.

I have been working with Rachel for almost 4 years. I came to her as a former college athlete who lost her way for several years. I wanted to jump head first into ambitious exercises that I was used to in college. Thankfully, Rachel slowed me down and taught me the value of doing my recovery the right way. She personalized all of my sessions based on my goals but also on my ability at the time. In addition to the workouts, Rachel is knowledgable about health and wellness. Her ability to teach you about what your body needs and why will help you understand how important your diet is. The gym Rachel works out of, PIT Fitness is truly a judgement free zone. Everyone there, trainers and coaches, are friendly, supportive and engaging. The climate is welcoming and truly has a “family” feel to it. I can not recommend Rachel highly enough. She has changed my life and has become a wonderful support and cherished friend!

I've been working with Rachel for about 12 months and have seen amazing results in that time. I have never felt stronger or healthier. Rachel is passionate about fitness and it shows through the energy and enthusiasm she brings to every session. Her easy going, friendly personality creates a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. She makes each workout challenging, creative and most importantly, fun! She also places a high value on correct form with each exercise. She motivates me to push past my perceived limits to get results. I have incredible energy and my balance and flexibility have improved immensely. If you are serious about changing your life for the better, Rachel will lead you every step of the way. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough.
